Maike Brand wins Poster Competition at KAUST – Saudi Arabia
UT student Maike Brand was selected to take part in the annual Undergraduate Poster Competition
organized by King Abdullah's University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi-Arabia,
where students can present the results of their Bachelor Project research.
After presenting her poster on January 19, Maike was awarded on January 21, 2016 with the first prize for her poster entitled "Recognition of Metal Cations with Surface Immobilized Crown Ether Functionalized Poly(ferrocenylsilane)", with Bram Zoetebier, Mark Hempenius and G. Julius Vancso as coauthors.
