The workshop "Advanced Macromolecular Systems Across the Length Scales III (AMSALS III)" follows the preceding workshops in this series, held in May 2006 and April 2007, which were focused on the synthesis, materials chemistry and applications of soft, organic matter for micro- and nanostructured platforms in the context of nanotechnology
for life sciences.
Central aspects of this third workshop will include topics, such as advanced polymer synthesis, molecular surface engineering, controlled networks and gels, liquid crystals, controlled 3D micro- and nanostructures, formation & function of complex supramolecular architectures, biological & bio-mimetic systems, (bio)sensors and devices.
