Kaihuan Zhang wins Chinese Government Award
Kaihuan Zhang has been awarded the ‘2016 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad’. The award is set up by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to honor overseas Chinese students with outstanding academic accomplishments. Established in 2003, this award was developed to encourage research excellence and to recognize the achievements among Chinese students abroad. This year, the award has been presented to 501 Chinese PhD students pursing their studies abroad, across all disciplines, including 10 PhD students studying in the Netherlands.
